ABOUT THE EVENT / how it all started
The structure and function of the aorta and aortic valve have fascinated inquiring minds since the studies of Leonardo da Vinci half a millennium ago. The different segments of the aorta are subject to different diseases, have different imaging characteristics, have different branch vessels of different relevance, are accessed surgically and endoscopically by different approaches, and serve different physiological functions. In this new Aorta Masterclass we offer a high-tech, interactive discussion of some of the pressing controversies in the management of aortic disease.
